It’s official: Season 2 of Wednesday is coming! There is no set date for its release yet, but it is very likely that it will come out in 2024 or late 2023.  The first season did so well, it beat Stranger Things’ record of 341.23 million hours viewed. After a successful first season of the phenomenal show, it was clear that they could not let the viewers down with such a cliffhanger.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

In S1, Alfred Gough, who is a co-creator of the show says, “Miles [Millar] and I are talking amongst ourselves about it. There’s definitely more that you can explore in the world of the Addamses.”

Characters that you will (most likely) see in the coming seasons:

 Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega)

Wednesday’s family

Principal Weems, (Gwendoline Christie) will most likely be seen in visions

 Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers)

 Xavier Thorpe (Percy Hynes White)

Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan), and more!

What more to expect in S2:

There definitely were some cliffhangers in S1 that will be coming back. For example, in the last episode, Xavier gives Wednesday her very first phone, which is nothing modern and perfect for her. But, on the car ride home, she receives texts from an unknown number with pictures of Wednesday minutes before and a gif of a knife going through her head. Also, you can probably expect Tyler, (the Hyde who killed everybody) to come back. Gough told Variety, “Yeah. Absolutely. He’s out there. That’s what we wanted to convey,” Hunter Doohan, who plays Tyler says, “Tyler’s secret is out of the bag, I’m excited for season 2 to kind of explore him fighting between the monster and the real version of him. He doesn’t have his master, Christina Ricci, anymore, so what’s he gonna be like? I don’t know.” meaning that he will be back in the show, but they aren’t sure where it will be, when, why, etc.

There is so much more to talk about and explore the world of Wednesday. If you want more information, do some more research!
