Mavericks restaurant in Granby Colorado is a very good restaurant to go to. I went to the restaurant on February 9th 2o24. When you walk in there are three passageways, on your left there is some seating, on your right there is some more seating and then when you go forward there is a bar to your left, and then the kitchen and bathroom. The restaurant is kind of small but not too small that it can’t fit big groups of people. When I went I had a party of eight. I was there for about a good hour and a half.
The restaurant has bar food (Burgers, sandwiches, wings, fried pickles, etc.) The food is like 12-20 dollars and they are open every day between 11 am-9 pm. You can go to their website and find out everything about them. They have a bar separate from the seating but if you’re going to sit down and have a meal they will still serve alcohol. I don’t think they allow smoking inside but they do have seating outside so you could probably smoke out there. They don’t have live music or entertainment but it is a small-ish restaurant so they don’t have a ton of space if you wanted to have a big group you could probably scoot tables together.
When we walked in the waitress took our drink order right away and then brought them after five(ish) minutes. Then she came out again to get our appetizers and then she came back after we ate our appetizers. She took our orders and then about fifteen minutes later she came with our food which was really fast for restaurants.
Some positives about Mavericks was that the food was excellent, the food came out pretty fast, and the waitress was really nice. The only thing that wasn’t pleasing was that the check came out pretty late.
For appetizers we had fried pickles and southwest egg rolls. The fried pickles were very good and the egg rolls were good. For my main course I had the cowgirl club sandwich, it had turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, and some homemade sauce on a pretzel bun. It came with fries and pickles on the side. The sandwich was very good and it tasted amazing all together. Sometimes some food would slip out the back but to prevent that I make the bacon go the other way. The fries were crunchy on the inside and there was a nice potato on the inside.
Overall, the restaurant was really good. I would definitely recommend going there. I would give it a four star review because the servers were pleasant and nice and the food is like the perfect flavors mixed together to make heaven.
