Blue Pan Pizza on 12th Ave is the best Detroit-style pizza place in Denver. It has an average of 4.7 stars and for a good reason. Their Detroit-style pizza is amazing,  you will never have pizza this good at any other place in Denver. A fan favorite is the Brooklyn Bridge pizza, which has cupping pepperoni, sausage, and ricotta cheese dollops. As one Google review says, “Amazing Detroit-style pizza. I had the Brooklyn Bridge and it was amazing. I normally do thin crust but the waiter recommended the Detroit style and it didn’t disappoint.”

The customer service is efficient and nice because if they mess up they will fix their mistake immediately. Ask for a napkin, they’re straight to it! And the waiters almost never make a mistake though. Once you order, your food will not take long to cook as the crust of the pizza is already pre-cooked.

Blue pan has a variety of pizzas and salads including another fan favorite – the Greek salad, which has romaine Lettuce, spinach, kalamata olives, pepperoncini, beets, red onion, cucumbers, tomatoes, chickpeas, feta cheese, and house-made Greek dressing. If you are a sports lover, Blue pan pizza also has sports games on many TVs but it can sometimes be a little loud, although it’s still bearable. Additionally, you will love the atmosphere at Blue Pan. It has a Detroit theme and a fantastic mural of the location on the wall with an astronaut. Get there before 6 pm, otherwise, you will never get a table.
