As we all know there is definitely a shooting problem in the united states. As of May 8, 2023, there have been 202 mass shootings and we are only 5 months into the year that is more mass shootings than days in 2023 so far, as of May 1st there were 184 mass shootings, which means from May 1st to May 8th there were 18 mass shootings that are roughly 2.5 mass shootings per day! As of this year, there have been 13,959 people killed in these shootings just this year.

With these numbers constantly going up, we need to do something about this, but so far nothing is being done to stop these shootings, If the shootings stay at the same pace there will be approximately 915 shootings this year, Which is clearly a problem.
