What even is boba tea? Well the word “boba” can refer to either broad category of chunky drinks including everything from iced tea with tapioca. Boba is a culture of Taiwan. Boba is round and really squishy. They were a common dessert in Taiwan. Boba has been here for a little while and was invented/made in the 1980’s. There are different types of bobas such as classic boba, brown sugar boba, and popping boba. Boba itself is different from a boba drink. A boba drink can have any flavor with any type of boba, and some drinks there aren’t boba but you can add boba. There’s only a few boba places in town however, it is possible to make your own! Boba isn’t even expensive. It’s made out of tapioca starch that comes from the cassava root. The top best boba tea drinks are  Black Milk Tea or Hong Kong Milk Tea , Taro Milk Tea , Thai Milk Tea , Matcha Milk Tea , and Honeydew Milk Tea. Where are some places in town to get some? Some that are in town are Tea Cloud and Poke , Loillicup , Boba Chic, and  Beautea Bubbles. You can try it out and see if you like it!
