Russell Wilson signs 5 years $245M extension from the Denver Broncos on September 1, 2022. This contract is the largest contract in Broncos franchise history. “In addition to being a terrific quarterback and winner, Russell is a dynamic leader whose positive impact is felt throughout our entire team and community,” co-owner and CEO Greg Penner said in a statement, adding, “Our organization is fully committed to winning and competing for Super Bowls with Russell as a Bronco for many years to come.”

Russell Wilson is a key addition to this Broncos team which is in desperate need of an actually decent Quarterback as in the past three years they played EIGHT quarterbacks and at one point they played their third-string running back who had played some Quarter Back on his peewee football team. Russell Wilson will debut on the Monday night game on September 12 against his former team in Seattle against the seahawks. They are “Russless in Seattle” The Seahawks are a team that has had many successes with Russel Wilson including back-to-back super bowl appearances winning one ironically against the Broncos. Also, Wilson has been selected to nine pro bowl teams and he holds the record for most wins by an NFL quarterback through nine seasons with 98 wins. This is certainly giving us a good outlook on the Bronco’s season.
