Schools Affect on Mental Health

School can have a significant impact on the mental health of students. The pressures of academic performance, social interactions, and extracurricular activities can be overwhelming and lead to a range of mental health issues, including anxiety,  and stress-related problems.

One of the primary ways that school can affect mental health is through academic pressure. Many students feel intense pressure to perform well academically, whether due to parental expectations, personal goals, or external pressures This can lead to excessive stress and anxiety, which can have a negative impact on mental health. In some, which can contribute to mental health issues.

This along with the expectation to perform well in sports can create a lot of pressure, balancing performing in school, then after a school performing in sports. Middle school can also be a challenging time for kids, to find a friend group and who you want to hang out with, all of these things pushing on the student, can create a overwhelming schedule, and a stress in their lives
