Elmo is Pounded with Responses After Checking In

Elmo was checking in and asked if we were okay on X formally known as Twitter and he got a flood of responses including “Life is Hard” on Monday, Jan 29, 2024

After Elmo said “Elmo is just checking in! How is everybody doing?” He has gotten 200 million views and life stories from millions. Elmo got many responses even from Chance the Rapper, T-Pain, and President Joe Biden. Many people are dumping traumas on Elmo and saying things such as “Honestly, Elmo, I need a hug” and “Elmo girl…I’m having a quarter-life crisis right now and I can’t get my [s–t] together to finish this last semester. I’m mentally burnt out and I have a lifetime of working to go”.

After all of this Elmo responded on Tuesday “Wow! Elmo is glad he asked! Elmo learned that it is important to ask a friend how they are doing. Elmo will check in again soon, friends!  Elmo loves you. #EmotionalWellBeing.” Then more Sesame Street characters spoke out like Cookie Monster “Me here to talk it out whenever you want. Me will also supply cookies. 💙🍪 #EmotionalWellBeing.”  Even Oscar the grouch entered some nice words, “I’m not great at listening to others share their big feelings, but my worm Slimey is. You should talk with him if you ever need to chat. 🐛💚 #EmotionalWellBeing.”

After this people started to reach out about mental health in the comments including “We make jokes but this is actually important. This app is hell now. And instead of letting Elmo’s tweet be a one off, @sesamestreet and @SesameWorkshop leaned all the way in. To speak to adults. Some of whom haven’t watched their show in decades. THAT is why they’re so special,” one person wrote. All in all, Elmo tried to do a nice thing and reach out and people flooded him with personal traumas but this might have lead to mental health awareness for people
