Our Take on LIfe

Our+Take+on+LIfe

When you are a baby you don’t care what anyone thinks, you just want bright rainbows and light-up sketchers. You don’t understand why your mom wears makeup and why you can’t marry your dad. You just want to be 5 because you could hold up one single hand. When you are a toddler you don’t care what anyone thinks as you are crying in a King Soopers. You don’t care that you are causing a fit. and you don’t care if you make anyone annoyed. You just want to be ten and hold up both hands. As you get to 9-10 you wear what you want and are friends with anyone. But you don’t understand why people are inside all day on their phones. The real world was so much more fun, than just scrolling. You just want to be 13 and you could say you were a teenager.

As you grow up into your teenage years you start to understand why you can’t marry your dad and why your mom wears makeup. You start to care what others think and are friends with who is popular and wears what is in style. You lie about things that you wish you had and dream about things you can’t. You just want to be 16. You could drive. That had to be pretty cool.

Going into high school I can imagine it will be hard. People are mean and you stay inside because you don’t want to risk people seeing you outside riding bikes with your sister. You can’t wait to grow up and be out of the house and finally be in college. You would be 18 you would be an adult! But when you are in college, it’s fun but it’s hard, and people are still mean and you miss your family. People finally treated you as an adult, well sorta your freshman raw meat. People don’t look up to you like you thought, but you just want to be 21 you could drink. Maybe someone would ask your name in a bar. You were top of the class, but once college was over you really wished you had more of a blast. You wish you did not wish away your childhood waiting for this day,  it was not as magical as everyone portrayed. Yeah, it was great people took you seriously but you wore makeup for boys and went on your phone more than going outside. You have to do adult things like taxes. When you are 24 you just want to be 30. Have kids and a family to feel that childhood again you washed away wishing. Have your kids ask why they can’t marry dad and why you wear makeup. You go outside and go less on your phone. I just want to be 30. I thought that would be pretty cool.
