Copenhagen, Denmark, is a remarkable city. The architecture and canals are beautiful, and the food is known to be amazing. It has a rich history, involving literature, politics, royalty, and so much more. And it is oh, so, squeaky clean.
One of the things that makes Copenhagen so polished is that it doesn’t use that much energy. It’s powered mostly by wind and solar energy. Using these sources, its goal to be carbon dioxide-free by 2025 looks like that will be accomplished. Copenhagen also reuses items like wood, straw, and animal and human waste to fuel the city.
Also, one thing to add is that Denmark in general is a pretty clean country. The reason for this is that they mostly stick to agriculture and fishing, and not as much as processed stuff.
As for the United States, Honolulu, Hawaii, tops as the cleanest city. This is because: They have a low population, and a lot of wind and rain, and Hawaii takes many precautions to make sure it doesn’t become polluted. They make sure you’re not wearing sunscreen that could harm coral reefs, don’t use plastic bags, and just make sure everyone is doing their part.
You have good news because in terms of trash, Denver ranks in the top 5 in the U.S.. This is good! To keep it this way, pick up your trash!
