Danelo Cavalcante escaped from a Pennsylvania prison and was then captured on September 13, 2023.
Danelo Cavalcante escaped from a Pennsylvania prison just days after being sentenced to life in prison without parole because of the fatal stabbing of his ex-girlfriend.
Danelo was captured by the Pennsylvania State Police after he tried to crawl away and was taken down by a law enforcement K-9 named Yoda.

State police and U.S. Border Patrol teams caught Cavalcante close to the home where he had stolen a .22-caliber rifle with a mounted scope and a flashlight from an open garage on Monday night, a law enforcement source told Fox News. Cavalcante had fled from the homeowner, who shot at the escapee with his pistol and missed.
Many people are thoroughly pleased about the capture of Danelo Cavalcante and hope that he does not escape again.
