Halloween

Halloween

Halloween is a holiday that many people celebrate around the world. This holiday is celebrated on October 31 and started in the 19th century and is still celebrated to this day.

Halloween is a day when people dress up in costumes and walk door to door to get candy. This is a holiday that is mostly celebrated in America but other countries celebrate other holidays like Halloween.

In Mexican and Hispanic culture they celebrate Día de Muertos, The Day of the Dead, which is a holiday where they honor loved ones who have passed away and then come visit them.

Even when you are an adult you can still celebrate Halloween! You could give out candy to the children, or you could go to costume parties, and even haunted houses. During the fall session, many people like to decorate their homes for Halloween or even just for fall.

People also watch scary movies such as ‘Halloween’, ‘Scream’, ‘The Haunting’, and ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street.’ These are all great movies to watch if you are looking for a fun movie night!

Costumes: For Halloween, many people like to dress up with their friends and family some great costume ideas are: Care bears, firemen, Police officers, Construction workers, Princes/princes, and cheerleaders/football players. These are just some fun ideas you can use as a group or just with yourself!

I hope everyone has a spooky season and a happy Halloween!
