A few weeks ago, Taylor Swift announced while on her Eras tour, that she was releasing Taylor’s Version of 1989 on October 27, 2023. Taylor also announced that she was releasing 5 “On the Vault songs” in the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) album. A few of these songs, Taylor said were songs she wanted to add to her 1989 album when she first released it but her old company wouldn’t let her. 

A few songs on the 1989 album including Clean, Style, and Out of the Woods are about Harry Styles. Taylor wrote these after the breakup which was right before Taylor Swift wrote the 1989 album. When she won an award for the 1989 album Taylor said,” Thank you to the person who gave my inspiration for 3 of my songs. You know who you are.” She was talking about Harry Styles. 

Taylor Swift’s old producing company wouldn’t let her add certain songs to her albums like Speak Now, Fearless, Red, Reputation, Taylor Swift ( her debut album ), and 1989. For Taylor, it’s like showing that she is free from them controlling her. 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is the upcoming fourth re-recorded album that she has recorded so far. This album is supposed to be one of the best-re-recorded albums that she has done yet.
