The Broncos are releasing veteran QB Russell Wilson. Along with the 2023-2024 season the Denver Broncos had a pretty rough start by losing their first two games by 1 or 2 points. On game three they had one of the biggest blowouts in NFL history ending the game with an astonishing 70-20 Dolphins besides this blowout, the Broncos went on to have a 5 game-winning streak but ended up coming short in the playoffs ending with an 8-9 record.

But after further consideration, the Broncos decided to let him go and in the 2024 draft pick, they can get the following.

1st round  (12th overall)

3rd round (Sean Payton trade )

4th round (Bradley Chubb trade)

5th round (own pick)

6th round (Jake Martin trade) NYJ

7th round SF (Randy Gregory trade)

These picks are good but not the best considering the 2024-2025 season. There is no saying where Russell will go two or if he will even start. But the Denver Broncos state that “Russ is easy to sign cuz he’s at the minimum,” one agent texted. “Russ is hard to sign cuz he’s Russ.”  This is saying that Russ can be good and at the same time be horrible  

But it’s safe to say that Russ is greater under pressure having 39 game-winning drives. He also had a couple of game-winning drives in the 2023 season against the Vikings. The Bills and Russ with Courtland Sutton seemed to be unstoppable because Sutton’s size was unmatched against any DB (defensive back).
