The hallways at McAuliffe are always overcrowded with approximately 250 students rushing out of their classrooms to access their lockers, stop in the hallway to chat with friends, and make their way to the bathroom or get water. Additionally, students often have to navigate through the school to get to their next class, which might be located on another floor or in a distant corner of the building. This raises the question of why the school has such a large number of students and such small hallways to accommodate them.
Many students complain about the large number of kids and wish the school wasn’t so big. Due to the size of the school, it discourages many students from wanting to attend McAuliffe but if they get in, it makes them anxious about going to school.
However, if the school was smaller, it could make more students happier and encourage more people to apply. On the other hand, a smaller school could mean a lower acceptance rate, which could be a significant problem for those who want to attend but do not get accepted.
