It’s concerning to hear that bullying at McAuliffe International School is reportedly becoming more severe, and it’s disheartening to hear that teachers aren’t taking action to address the issue. Bullying is a serious issue that can have lasting negative effects on those who experience it. Even though we have a site called Safe2Tell does that really help?

Now that the girls and boys have switched bathrooms boys have the feeling that they not only have a bigger ego but they feel more powerful, and this can become a huge problem for bullying even from some girls that find this very sexist. At McAuliffe International School the bullying policy is that if you see this happening tell staff and teachers will report it to Ms.Frenzel or other staff will talk to the student, but is that actually true?

Many people will get bullied and then later “snitch” (I will talk a bit later) to the staff that will “talk” to the student that later on will stop, but guess what they don’t!
Snitching is a terrible problem at school mostly because if someone does something to you and you decide to tell someone (if this happens to you please do!!) The students call this snitching and if you snitch you are automatically considered a nerd or a teacher’s pet. In many people’s opinions, you should definitely tell others and ask for help and a huge reminder if you have decided to tell someone and/or staff YOU ARE NOT A SNITCH!
