The Amazing Digital Circus (TADC) is an animated YouTube series where humans get trapped inside a game after putting on a VR headset. When you enter the TADC you are given a new body that can be anything, but you can’t choose it. Also, when entering TADC you can’t remember your name so you’re given a new one. There is no way of leaving TADC, and if you go crazy about it, you will deconstruct into a blob of eyes, and this black glitch stuff.
In TADC, there are eight main characters: Caine, Bubble, Kinger, Gandle, Jax, Zooble, Ragatha, and Pomni. Caine is the headmaster of the circus. He is an artificial intelligence (AI) that was made when the game was. He has a normal human-looking body but instead of a head, he has dentures (a jaw) and two eyes in between the top and bottom rows of teeth as a head. Bubble is also an AI and helps Caine with running the circus. Bubble is a bubble with sharp teeth that can have a tongue if needed. Kinger is a human who was trapped in TADC. We don’t know how long he has been trapped but he has been there the longest. Kinger looks like a king white chess piece. He wears a long rope that looks like one a king would wear. He is also around 40-42 years old. Gandle is also a human trapped in TADC. She is made of five red ribbons that make up her body, arms, and legs. Her face(es) is a white mask that can be, happy or sad. They are two support masks and very fragile one breaks in the show. Jax is a human. He is 22 currently, and is a fan favorite. He is a purple rabbit that wears pink overalls. He has yellow eyes and teeth and wears yellow gloves. He can’t open his mouth, or at least very easily. Zooble is a human, and they are 22 too. They are made of a bunch of different shapes and they are able to disassemble their limbs. Ragatha is a rage doll. She has red curly hair, a triangle noise, and her left eye is replaced with a button. She wears a blue dress with dark blue patches on it. She is 30 years old. Pomni is the main character and the show is mostly revolved around her. Pomni is a new member of TADC. She is a jester, and her outfit is blue, red, and yellow/gold. She wears a jester hat and she has brown hair.
There are two side characters, The Moon, and Kaufmo. The Moon is the moon but she and Caine must had something going on for a while, because when Caine was showing Pomnie around and when they got to the moon she said, “I love you, Caine” in a very flirtatious tone. Kaufmo was a clown. He was a human and his outfit was blue and yellow. He constructed so he isn’t a part of TADC anymore. When a human contracts is when they lose their minds about not being able to leave. It’s their “breaking point.”
The plot is that a new person, Pomni, gets trapped in TADC. Caine then gives a “quest” to do. They all have to capture all the glonkes. Kinger, Zooble, and Gandle do the quest. Jax, Pomni, and Ragatha go check on Kaufmo. I won’t revile what else happens because you should go watch it. As I said earlier, it’s called The Amazing Digital Circus on YouTube.
TADC is one of my favorite shows right now. Even though Glitch (the company that made TADC) only has one episode out, it gives lots of detail about what the show will be about. All the characters are all very unique and different. My favorite characters are Caine and Kinger. Caine says/does lots of funny things that make me smile and laugh a lot. But I do like Kinger better. Kinger has been at the TADC the longest and (in theory) lost his wife there. He is also just so sweet and very pure. The show is just very well done and you can tell that Glitch put a lot of effort into it.
