“Big Ben” Also known as Ben Wallace Is considered one of the most underrated big men of his time. He lasted 17 years in the NBA before retiring in Detroit Finishing his career with One NBA championship(2003-2004) 4x Allstar Probably the best achievement he has accomplished is being a 4x Defensive Player of the Year (Shared with Dikembe Mutombo) and being nominated in the HALL OF FAME.
Now he was the most “Effective” player on offense But he was most certainly a beast on defense Averaging 15 reb and at least 3 blks per game. He was also the only undrafted player to be selected as an All-Star starter. One of his best highlights was blocking Prime Shaquille O’Neal
Not many NBA players can brag about that, can they?
Now, about His FInals in the 2003-2004 NBA finals. BIG BEN averaged 10.3 points 13.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals defeating the Los Angeles Lakers in 5 games (4-1) with the final score being 68-54.
