Graffiti in Mcauliffe International

Graffiti in Mcauliffe is found everywhere throughout the school year with the destruction of toilet paper markers on walls and a TikTok trend. Just the other day I was using the bathroom and what do I see? A huge drawing of (I don’t want to say it so I’m not going to) right in the biggest stall. Someone came and cleaned it up but it got me wondering…. why? Does it give people joy and happiness, is it entertaining? Well, it’s too late to say now haven’t seen any graffiti lately and I think it’s safe to say that graffiti is gone now…. at least for 7th grade.

I have a class on the second floor and EVERY time I go and use the bathroom there is always at least one piece of graffiti on the wall. And last year was WAY worse. There was a TikTok trend called “The devious lick challenge” and in the videos, students were seen taking lockers off walls and stealing toilets and sinks. Mcauliffe was NOT safe from mainly stealing soap out of the soap dispenser but according to a Former 7th grader (Now in 8th), Someone stole the doors of the stalls and the TikTok challenge got so out of hand to the point where the school OFFERED MONEY if you would confess to anyone seen doing this challenge.

The 6th-grade bathroom is a MESS. When I go to use the bathroom someone is always overflowing toilets or throwing wet toilet paper on the ceiling. But the 7th-grade bathroom is no different, the paper towel dispenser is broken one of the urinals doesn’t flush, and the same thing there is still wet toilet paper on the ceiling. Now if I may ask? Please stop destroying the bathrooms.
