Nature Poem

Nature Poem

Nature.

I walk outside.

The smell of dried leaves and snow filled my head.

Everything else leaves.

I walk.

Neighbors greet each other with a wave.

The dogs bark.

The kids run around screaming

¨ You can’t catch me!¨

The once old dog that was walked every day wasn’t walked today.

The neighbor with too many things to do sits outside pondering.

A carpet company goes into the house across from mine.

I walk.

The leaves are frozen to the concrete.

I touch the cold snow.

It crumbles in my hands.

I continue to walk.

The sun is a pink swirl.

The clouds erupt from the sky.

I walk.

The chattering of any animal runs through the wind,

Like water.

A spring is full of water and animals all around.

The wind whistles every day.

The tune is ever so sweet.

The earth’s music.

An opera.

Nature.

Brooke Bentley, Author
I'm Brooke, Bentley, and I'm in 7th grade, A fun fact about me is that I play tennis. Something I do for fun is, I like to walk my dog and go explore with her. I like writing about the school and some of the drama and things that happen at school because I want others to be caught up with everything. I  also like to review books and movies because I want to make sure people aren't wasting their money on a bad movie or book.
