Two of the best-fried chicken industries in the U.S. are designed for greatness, yet which one is better, well Popeye’s discovered in 1972, has gained its popularity respectfully through its meat, its chicken, their main dish. However, in 1996 a rival industry emerged from the ground to make a name for itself, and that fast food place is Raising Cane’s. Either way, they’re both going to give you a mouthful that you crave, that you want, that you need. So let’s dig deep into both fast food restaurants to see which one is better, Popeye’s or Raising Cane’s.
First, let’s talk about the meat these industries use. Now Raising Cane’s uses chicken tenderloins which is the “the long, innermost muscle of the breast lying along the breastbone” making it the most tender part of the chicken but unhealthy, while Popeye’s uses bona fide chicken which means real chicken, sincere, so they’re saying they are sincere about their chicken however yet still high in calories because, well it’s fried chicken, but the flavor attracts the customer making it hard to resist eating it.
And lastly, let’s talk about price. Remember though cheap doesn’t mean good quality but let’s dig into this subject. Raising Cane’s would usually be about, for a meal, about $10.00-$20.00, and for Popeye’s a meal would be about $5.00-$10.00, so with Popeye’s being cheaper and having an addicting flavor it would obviously be popular and Raising Cane’s putting the combo of coleslaw and chicken together why wouldn’t people be lining up for the taste of such a unique dish.
Listing cost, flavor, creativity, pros, and cons of what people like best. Would they like a place like Popeye’s or a place like Raising, Decide?
