A man looked into a hollowed out fence post and saw his bird with three abandoned kittens that it had been taking care of.

They rescued the bird and its sibling when they were babies. They had been alone on the ground under a tree. When they were able to be released one bird left but the other stayed. Now, the bird that stayed goes off during the day but comes back for the night. But the bird had not been coming back for the night, it had been staying near a hollowed out fence post 

They got curious about why the bird was staying near the fence post and when they looked inside the post they noticed three kittens inside. The kitten’s mother had given birth to them and then abandoned them. The bird had taken care of them. They took the kittens in and will be keeping them.
