Fly Eagles Fly

The Eagles are off to a tremendous 8-0 start to the 2022-2023 season, Philadelphia has a new head coach in Nick Sirianni who is doing a great job, with Jalen Hurts (the Eagles QB) leading their offense there is no stopping this team. Jalen Hurts is in his 3rd year at Philly with 6,505 total passing yards and 34 passing touchdowns, although Hurts is known for his scrambling ability, he has 1,503 rushing yards with 19 rushing touchdowns. The Eagles defense has been a key factor in their undefeated season with 12 INTs (best in the league), and they have one of the best cornerbacks in the league so far with C. J. Gardner-Johnson who has 5 INTs (a league-best). The crazy thing is that after the 29-17 win over the Texans the Eagles improved to their first 8-0 start in their franchise and look like they might be the 2nd team in NFL history to go undefeated in the season. The only other team that did that was the 1972 Miami Dolphins who went on to win the Super Bowl, looking at the Eagles’ schedule it looks like they have a good chance to go undefeated.

Eagles opponents for the rest of the season: Washington Commanders(Record:4-4), Indianapolis Colts(Record:3-4-1), Green Bay Packers(Record:3-5), Tennessee Titans(Record: 5-2), New York Giants(Record:6-2), Chicago Bears(Record:3-5), Dallas Cowboys(Record:6-2), New Orleans Saints(Record:3-5), and New York Giants(Record:6-2). The Eagles should be able to take care of these opponents easily(I’m guessing). One of the Eagles’ biggest contributors to their offense is their new WR: A.J. Brown. A.J. Brown used to be with the Titans who traded him away and received the 2021 18th overall draft pick who is now Treylon Burks. The Eagles definitely won that trade with A.J. Brown having 43 catches, 718 yards, and 6 touchdowns.

The Eagles’ offensive and defensive weapons, their schedule, and their new coaching staff point toward an undefeated season and maybe even a trip to the Super Bowl and taking home the Lombardi trophy.
