Spark Change Leaders

Janeh Elias Batson

Mcauliffe International School has started a program called Spark Change. This program is here to show early middle schools on how to be a leader when they grow up. This program helps students make a difference within the environment. Being a leader also includes solutions to issues like anxiety, stress and other things.

Scoop leaders have started to continue their record of helping people at Mcauliffe. MIS started this program because of how many leaders there were at Mcauliffe. According to PennState Extension, ¨Leadership skills allow children to have control of their lives and the ability to make things happen. Leadership instills confidence, and helps children solve problems creatively, work in a team, and work collaboratively with others. Leadership gives children many opportunities to develop responsibility.¨ Leadership helps kids show empathy to their work and helping others. If kids become leaders they will have opportunities for many Jobs in the future. Being a leader can get you a job like (Business manager, Department supervisor) and other great jobs. And that’s what MIS is trying to teach their kids starting with Spark Change. This program has changed so much within Mcauliffle learning  skills and ability.
