When you think of deadly animals you might think of things like sharks or lions but that is incorrect. Yes, those are very deadly animals but there are more deadly animals that some of you may have not even heard of.
- Mosquitoes
the world’s most deadly animal is actually a Mosquitoes. Mosquitoes kill about 725,000 people every year. Unlike many other dangerous creatures, they can be found in almost every part of the world at multiple times of the year. At peak breeding season they outnumber every other animal except ants and termites.
- Snakes
The second deadliest animal is the snake with An estimated 50,000 people killed yearly by snakes. The most venomous snake in the world is the Inland Taipan, also known as the Western Taipan. Its venom is highly toxic and can kill a human in under 45 minutes. More than 80% of those bitten by the Inland Taipan die. But it is not the biggest killer, because it rarely bites humans.
- Scorpions
The stinger causes a scorpion sting in a scorpion’s tail. When a scorpion stings, its stinger can release venom. The venom contains a complex mix of toxins that affect the nervous system and can kill a human in under 48 hours. The symptoms of more severe it can kill the human within 24 hours.
- Crocodiles
Crocodiles are the biggest and deadliest reptile in the world. Even though they are scared of humans they are not afraid to start a fight and know they will win. Hundreds of crocodile attacks are reported each year. Still, many more go unreported because they occur in very remote regions, meaning it is difficult to get accurate data on the number of deaths per year.
So to wrap it up there are many deadly animals but mosquitos are number one and kill the most people. There are so many more deadly animals so watch out and be careful.
