Staying Cool in Summer

Staying Cool in Summer

One thing to buy before summer starts is many fans because it’s going to feel like an oven in your house also you might wanna buy lots of cold beverages to keep you  fresh. It gets to about 95F or above and sometimes higher in the summer. Summer is the best time to buy fans like ceiling fans because they can circulate all around the room and not in one spot. You can  take a cold shower or bath so your body can feel nice and relaxed and not heated

Summer  is too hot not to have a fan in the house. You could even have an air conditioner in the house so it will be in the one place you are at most so when you go there it’s nice and cool.

The way to keep your ceiling fan so it can circulate in the house is, “During summer months, your ceiling fan blades should be set to spin counterclockwise. When your ceiling fan spins quickly in this direction, it pushes air down and creates a cool breeze. This helps keep a room’s temperature consistent throughout the day and reduces the need for an air conditioner to run constantly.” This all explains how ceiling fans are best to keep you cold in the summer.

Another thing to stay refreshed is to wear clothes that don’t make you super hot. You can wear clothes like tank tops and loose pants or shorts. For the shoes, you can wear sandals or flip flops, and wear light colors instead of dark colors. The article “What to wear in the Summer” states” Loose-fitting clothing is your best bet for staying cool in the summer. Go for cropped, wide-leg pants, loose shirts, oversize blouses, and dresses and skirts with room to breathe.” This explains why these types of clothes are recommended to wear in the summer.

Things you should have in your house are all these things because they help you to be refreshed and not burn up all the time. Something you could do to keep your house cold is too wet your curtains. Spritzing or soaking your curtains or leaving the bottoms to sit in buckets of water, is a great way to cool down any incoming sunlight or breeze from the outside. This trick only works if you can get air circulating to evaporate the water, so run a fan at the same time or choose a window with a draft coming through. This helps to keep your house cold and not a super hot day and night.
