Top 3 Travel Spots For Summer 2023

Sophia A. Layden, Author

As they say, all good things come to an end. This past summer flew by as the empty halls at McAuliffe awaited for the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to fill the desks. Hopefully, you all had a great summer. During summer, many people went on vacation/travel to somewhere like the mountains or beach. For next summer, which feels like forever away, I am going to share the top-visited/favorite vacation spot of this summer.

If you’re looking to go on summer vacation for 2023, it seems like Europe is the most popular stop. Europe is rich in history and gorgeous architecture. It includes places like Spain, France, London and lots more. Along with its history, Europe is also known for its food (especially in France) with tons of pastries and seafood. The most popular places to visit here are the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, and La Sagrada Familia. These buildings have been here for centuries stunning the eyes of many travelers and many more to come. Europe is overall an amazing place to visit and there are so many places to tour so make sure to bring walking shoes. As soon as you step off the plane, you enter one of the most visited continents in the world.

The second most popular place to visit would be North America/staying in the states. Living in Colorado, I hope you all would know that this isn’t the place for warm days at the beach or surfing. Many of our other states like California are the perfect place for this. Depending on what vacation you are looking for, there is probably a state for everything you want to do. Want to explore schools and old buildings? Boston should be your destination. Looking for a party town? Las Vegas it is! And the list can go on forever. North America is also highly visited because there are so many places to visit with different types of attractions in each state.

Summer is only about 250 days away but that also includes weekends and holidays so it’s really not all that much when you think about it. When summer rolls around again, keep these places in mind when thinking about where you want to go.
