Why Showers are Better than Baths

Why Showers are Better than Baths

Most people probably clean themselves using either a bath or a shower, and that’s how it’s been for a few hundred years. But of the two options, I believe that showers are the objectively better way to clean yourself. For example, when you wake up in the morning and need to clean yourself, showers are much quicker than baths. A bath takes about 5 – 10 minutes to fill up for me, while you can just turn your shower and hop in. Additionally, in my experience, when you are taking a bath, it can take about 15 – 30 minutes to get yourself clean, while the average shower only takes about 10 minutes.

When you are in a bath, you are pretty much just floating in your own dirt because it has nowhere to go, whereas, in showers, dirt just goes straight down the drain. For me personally, the only way I can take a bath is by showing up first and making sure that I am clean before I take a bath so I don’t float in the dirt. Also, when using soap in a bath and then rinsing your hair, you can also get the harsh soap chemicals in it too. I don’t hate baths though, because they can be very relaxing and calming, like your own mini hot tub. Although the hot water in a bath can only last for so long, and then you are just left in lukewarm or even cold water, which sucks.

Keep in mind that this is just my opinion and what I think is better plus why. You may believe whatever you want about this topic and that is fine because everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
