Lisa Leslie is a WNBA player. She was born on July 7, 1972, in Gardena California. Lisa Leslie started playing basketball because she wanted to try it and thought her height would help. The 6′ 3″ basketball player was also the first woman to dunk in the WNBA on July 30, 2002, when she was playing for the Sparks.
Lisa Leslie retired on February 4, 2009, because she wanted to make way for other younger and more talented players. She spent her time with her 2 kids, a boy, and a girl named Micheal Joseph Lockwood and Lauren Jolie Lockwood. Her husband’s name is Micheal Lockwood. Lisa Leslie is now a Head Coach for the triplets of the BIG3 professional 3-on-3 basketball league and a studio analyst for Orlando Magic broadcasts on Fox Sports Florida.
Lisa Leslie is more than just a basketball star and a coach, she is an Amazing person. She also has a book called “Don’t Let The Lipstick Fool You”. From 1990-1994 she went to the University of Southern California, and in 2009 she went to the University of Phoenix.
