Assassins Creed: Origins review

Miles Hickman, Writer

Assassins Creed Origins is a parkour third-person open-world rpg styled game in ancient Egypt. It’s so cool to see the pyramids white instead of yellowish-brown. The gameplay is really fun because when roaming around in the desert you may experience hallucinations such as meteors falling from the sky or a tree. The combat’s very entertaining because you can choose your weapon to fit your playing style. For example, if you want to be fast but not do a lot of damage you can use two smaller swords but if you want to hit hard at the expense of your speed you can use a massive club or battle axe. Another thing I like about this game is that there are many different outfits you can choose from. I don’t like how some of the better outfits cost real money but you can still get good ones. The graphics are really good and you can really tell what kind of environment you are exploring. Overall I’ll give Assassins Creed Origins an 8/10 due to the paywall for the better weapons and outfits.
