Zlatan Ibrahimovic: Arguably one of the Most Un-humble Sports Players of All Time

One of the main characteristics to having good sportsmanship is being humble. No one likes a sports player who is a sore loser or brags all the time about how good they are. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a professional soccer player, although he is not as classy as the other players. And is rated the 4th most arrogant player in an article called “The Five Most Arrogant Athletes in Professional Sports”.

In an interview with reporter Ibrahimovic states many un-humble things when questions are asked. When questioned about what he will be getting his wife for her upcoming birthday he states, “Nothing. She already has Zlatan”. This quote is pretty self explanatory but if you don’t get why this is arrogant or un-humble it’s because he’s saying he already gave her everything because he’s such a good athlete.

Another quote he states in this interview is “I can’t help but laugh at how perfect I am.” basically saying that he thinks he is way better than anyone else and can do everything to perfection, also stating “When you buy me, you are buying a Ferrari” and if you don’t know cars Ferrari’s cost around 200,000 – 300,0000 dollars or more. You could buy a house for this amount of money! So he’s basically saying his skills are equal to a very expensive car.

Overall, he doesn’t seem like the kindest sports player. But that doesn’t mean he’s not a professional or a talented player (I have never seen him play, so I don’t know). Once again, this is a very arguable debate and if you want some free advice for being a good all around athlete take your coaches advice, be humble and have good sportsmanship.
