Murphy Creek Golf Course

Murphy Creek Golf Course is an 18-hole course with a links style layout that was designed and created by Ken Kavanaugh. There are 6 different tees with Black being the longest that plays 7548 yards with a rating of 75.5. Then there is Blue, White, Gold, Gold (woman’s) and the shortest yardage being Red (woman’s) which is 5335 yards and a rating of 69.8. Additionally, the course has a driving range, a chipping and putting green, and a private green for lessons. This course is very pristine and in good condition as there are always repaired divots across the whole course along with very nicely groomed bunkers. But most of all the course is very green and healthy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course as it is challenging because of the different level changes and the water placement on some of the holes which causes you to have to hit accurate to stay on the green. But also this course is not to hard so that little experienced golfers can’t play and this is because there are very open fairways so even if you don’t hit the straightest drive you can still be in play and in good position for your next shot. Overall, this was one of my favorite courses I have ever played as it perfectly suits my skill level, along with having very beautiful views. I would give the course a rating of 8.5/10
