The NBA All-Star game is an event that happens in March or February every year since 1951. There are multiple events including the skills challenge where selected players go in a small tournament and whoever gets the fastest wins. There is also the 3-point contest where the players that are selected get 5 racks of basketballs with one rack being their money ball rack and those give you the best points if you make them and then the person with the most points wins. Then there is the dunk contest where some of the best dunkers in the league compete and come up with the best and most creative dunk and then the winner is decided by the judges. Finally there is the main event where the best players from the Eastern Conference and Western Conference play in a friendly game where lots of cool shots and dunks happen.

This year the team captains were Lebron James and Kevin Durant and they chose their players. The players for team Lebron were Lebron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, and Nikola Jokic. The reserves are Jaylen Brown, Paul George, Rudy Gobert, Damian Lillard, Domantas Sabonis, Chris Paul, and Ben Simmons. Team Durant consists of Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, Jayson Tatum, and Zion Williamson. The reserves are Mike Conley, James Harden, Zach Lavine, Donovan Mitchell, Julius Randle, Nikola Vucevic, Devin Booker, Anthony Davis, and Joel Embiid but Anthony Davis and Joel Embiid will not play because of injuries.

In the end, Team Lebron won 170-150, and the Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP award went to Giannis Antetokounmpo with 35 points.
