Video Game Reviews

This is Isaiah Wimbs here with the fifth episode of this hopefully ongoing series where I review different video games. The next beast to be slain is Legend of Zelda breath of the wild.

The Team

Legend of Zelda breath of the wild was made by Nintendo and composed by Hajime Wakai (and he did a good job too)

The Design

This game has wonderful visuals when you get out of the Starting Room the first view you see has mountains a nice view of the forest and a castle in the background which when I saw that my hopes were high. But beauty is not all a game has it still needs a story and this game has a great one.

The Enemies

The enemies don’t have a lot of variety but the ones we have age great. for example, Bokibins are goblin-like creatures and they have a lot of character you can see them conversating and dancing around the fire. Once again the enemies are fantastic and my favorite enemies to run into are the mini-bosses Lynels, Molduga, Hinox, and Stone Talus all of the mini-bosses are fun to fight and usually have great rewards. Then there are the variant enemies you first encounter your lowest class enemies the Red ones then they rank up Then you have Blue enemies, Black, and even Silver ones! Hinoxes also rank up and stop at black and Lynels go up to silver! and of course, there is the Stone Talus’ they have Igneo talus, Frost talus, Luminous talus, and the Rare Talus and Moldugas don’t get to rank up.

The Shrines and other things

The Shrines that are in this game are fun (As long as they don’t use motion controls) and also provide a challenge and you can get a spirit orb (It´s a special tool that will help us later) and then there are the main dungeons witch are more story-driven but are not required you can kill the final boss first thing if you so please. But after you come close to beating the dungeon you have to defeat one of…

The Bosses

The main bosses are a big challenge they do a heck of a lot of damage some KOing me in one show during my first playthrough but it’s time you learned the names of Ganon’s children of darkness Windblight, Thunder blight, Fireblight, and Waterblight then, of course, there is Ganon himself his battle was very hard on my first try requiring me to get more Spirit Orbs and up my health and stamina

DLC what it adds

Then there is the DLC in order to get this you will need an extra $20 but it is worth it completely adding 2o extra shrines, an extra dungeon (Like the ones the blights are in), A lot of new quests witch gives you plenty of and new armor, Hero’s Path Mode, the travel medallion, Lore, the ability to rematch the blights, Molduking (Who is just a stringer Molduga), Igneo Talus Titan (A stronger Igneo Talus) and Master Mode which introduces Gold variant enemies and Lynels. And who could forget the new boss at the end of the new dungeon.

Overall Breath of the Wild is an extremely fun game with loads of different things you can do. That’s all for this episode buckaroos! See you again today, tomorrow, or anytime convenient for you! Bye!
