Healthiest Human Food for Dogs

We all know that you aren’t supposed to feed your dog human foods, but every once in a while it’s ok to feed them certain human food, such as the ones I am going to share with you.

The first food is chicken. Chicken is a great food for dogs! Maybe giving it to them every day isn’t the best but every once in a while is actually really good for them! Look for pieces without a lot of fat and skip the salt and seasonings, and you’ll get a great piece of food to help with their muscles!

Next, is blueberries. These are filled with antioxidants that can help and repair damage in humans and canines. Most dogs love these sour-sweet fruits and they will help their immune system.

Next, is pumpkin! This is a great thing to give to your dog, it helps an upset stomach and digestion. The best way to give this to your dog is pumpkin puree, you can find this canned in a lot of grocery stores. Pumpkin can also help overweight dogs drop pounds, being low-calorie.

The last food I am going to talk about is salmon. The first thing I want to say is the only way to give your dog salmon is if it is cooked, raw salmon could have parasites making your dog sick. This is another great food for your dog if it is cooked because of its source of omega-3 that supports your dog’s immune system, skin, and coat. Some studies have even shown that omega-3s may help your dog with allergies!
