Girl Scout Cookies

Girl Scout Cookies

Stella Cooper, Writer

The time to get Girl Scout cookies comes around every year in February with the Girl Scouts. Even if you like Girl Scout cookies, you may end up with extras.

Every year you might end up with extra cookies you don’t want to eat. You might just throw them in the freezer but then you find them a year later and don’t really want to eat them. With every Girl Scout cookie, you could make a new dessert that is something you actually want to eat after eating so many cookies.

When you have extra Thin Mints you can make a brownie batter and add crushed Thin Mints to it so you can make Thin Mint brownies. Samoas can be crumbled up and put on ice cream so you can have Samoa Ice Cream. Tagalongs can also be mixed into ice cream. Do-si-dos can be covered in chocolate or the filling can even be mixed with chocolate chips to add flavor. Trefoils can be mixed with strawberries and ice cream in the summer but also can be crushed into a tart or pie crust. Toffee Tastic’s are also good for people who are gluten-free.
