Video Games Keeps Kids Fit

Are video games a good way to keep fit? It may seem like a really easy question to some people, but it is a question people have to keep asking themselves. Nowadays, a lot of people are into playing video games. People either play on their phone, X-box, or Playstation. Video games have been getting used more in 2020 and 2021 since you can only stay home due to Covid-19. Some video games are good for you and they will give you exercise, and there many ways how. 

First, active video games could definitely keep you fit! There are lots of different video games that are active, and that keeps you moving. Games such as basketball, water-skiing, dance, and many more could get you moving at home. You can also play these games in the comfort of your own house. There is also a game console called Nintendo Wii, which you could actually stand up whiling playing games, and you don’t have to sit down, holding a controller. In my opinion, these games are fun and interactive because you can play with your friends, play online with other people, and you don’t have to be directly by your friends to play with each other.

In addition, you can play whenever you want. Some people think that it’s better to do exercise outside in the fresh air, which is true but it’s difficult to play outside during a pandemic, when it’s raining, or when it’s very hot outside. It’s also difficult to play outside by yourself, or when you don’t have any friends around. That’s when video games come in hand, and you can be safe at home, so you don’t have to worry about checking covid, and you could be inside so you don’t have to worry about climate change.

To sum this up, I believe that video games are fun and a fun social way to keep fit. I think they are a good option when you cant play outside and they might encourage people to do more exercise.
