Goulash Recipe

Goulash is a traditional food in Hungary, going as far back as the 9th century. Goulash is delicious and can be made using;

1 lb. elbow noodles

2 lbs. ground beef

2 jar heirloom tomato sauce

1 can of whole corn

As just some simple ingredients to make a meal that is balanced with all the foods needed for a healthy dinner.

After getting these items the next set would be to salt the ground beef and then cook the hamburger meat in a pan breaking it up as you go. While, in a separate pot bring water to a boil and then add elbow noodles. When the elbow noodles are tender but not mushy drain the water and return to the pot. Then go back to the beef and drain the excess grease from the cooked beef and return to the skillet. After doing so, drain the water from the can of corn and add it to the ground beef and then add the spaghetti sauce. Also turn the skillet on medium high and heat to meat sauce mixture until heated thoroughly. Then combine the meat mixture with the noodles and stir.

Once everything is all mixed, plate the goulash and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and you have your meal of Goulash! Make sure to let it cool so as not to burn anyone but the texture is delicious and though it may sound strange, the different items bring the delicious meal into a balance giving the magnificent flavor.

Goulash came around as a stew for Hungarian shepherds because the meat was dried by the sun and packed with only water then needed to make it into a meal.
