Best Burger Restaurants in Central Park

Americans consume an average of 2.4 burgers per day according to the USDA, which is about 50 billion burgers per year. That’s a lot of burgers! There are plenty of places offering this tasty crowd-pleaser, but where is the best place to go? Here are some reccomendations;

Cherry Cricket:

Cherry Cricket has delicious burgers, and tasty fries as well. In 2019 they were voted the best burger place in Denver. And I can see why! Their restaurant is definitely one to visit. It was founded in 1945, by Mary Zimmerman. 

Five Guys:

Everyone knows Five guys! They have been making burgers since 1986. From tasty burgers and amazing fries to incredible milkshakes, it has easily become an extremely popular restaurant. One fact about Five guys is that employees form the patties by hand every day. Their first building opened in Arlington, VA.


In addition to having great custard, Freddy’s has great steak burgers as well. The company was founded in 2002 and their first location was in Wichita, KS. Freddy Simon, the man for whom the company is named, died on October 25th, 2020. He was 95. He was a World War II vet.

Park Burger:

Park burger has many different and tasty burgers, including classics like “The Double” and “Park Burger Sliders.” They also have more unique ones like “The Turkey Bacon Guac” and “Scarpone.” Park Burger was founded in 2009.

In-N-out Burger:

This restaurant is a great choice as well. The founder of In-N-out Burger is Harry Snyder (1913-1976). One fun fact about In-N-out burger is that many celebrities enjoy this restaurant; high-brow chef Julia Child once told Larry King that In-N-Out was “awfully good.” This delicious place to eat first opened on October 22, 1948, in Baldwin Park, CA.
