Wonder Woman 1984 is a movie that was released on December 25, 2020 on HBO MAX for free. The movie included the likes of Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, and Pedro Pascal. The movie is now in theaters in some states depending on the covid guidelines. The story is set in 1984 where Wonder Woman is a normal woman who works in a museum to study artifacts and define there history. Although Wonder Woman does have a problem with her relationship life as she still morns the death of her first love Steve. But she pushes through to do her job and one day when walking in she spots a new employee who is kind of weird and not very normal and she talks with her and becomes friends with her. Then later that day they get a shipment of artifacts and one of the items is hard to define so Wonder Woman and the new girl tries to find its history but it is very hard. Then an oil company owner Maxwell as been searching for this artifact for a long time because it is supposed to grant people’s wishes and he needs to wish for oil because his company is going out of business so Maxwell goes and convinces the new girl to give him the artifact. So when he gets the artifact he makes a wish that he will become the artifact which means he can grant people’s wishes. So when he does the world goes into chaos because there is always a price to pay for a wish so the world goes into destruction and Wonder Woman has to stop this by making Maxwell and all the other people in the world renounce their wish to stop all the bad things from happening and she does get everyone to renounce their wish.

Overall, I like the story line and the development of characters but since the whole story line is based around wishes so their seems to be a lot of loop holes to fix the whole world destruction so you fell the whole movie that this could all be fixed in seconds which makes it not the best movie. But other people think this movie is very entertaining and cool but most everyone can agree that the first wonder woman was way better. Like Wonder Woman had 60% on rotten tomatoes which is all right but the first Wonder Woman released in 2017 got 93% percent on rotten tomatoes which shows that the critics also think it is way better. So overall if you don’t really look at the story plot in depth you will find Wonder Woman 1984 entertaining because of the action scenes and slight comedic attempts. But if you care more about the story line I wouldn’t recommend it. To conclude, I think most kids above the age of 8 or 9 could watch this movie.
