The Broncos Struggle

The Broncos Struggle

Covid has affected many teams. The Broncos Have had a lot of it. Many players have COVID and have to sit out of games. On Sunday 6 more ravens tested positive for covid. But today I am going to talk about the Broncos. If you watched the Saints versus Broncos on Sunday you might have been a little confused. The quarterback waas not playing a lot so I am going to explain that.

For many plays Phillip Lindsay(the running back) was taking the ball and doing a wildcat. A wildcat is when the running back gets the ball snapped to them instead of the quarterback. However after a few plays someone else came in.His name was Kendall Hinton. He played for wake forest and was a backup wide receiver. On the Broncos he is the 5th backup. So it was going to be hard. Could they do it… No. They lost 3-31.

However here’s something else. The Broncos had tested their quarterbacks because Jeff Driskel(QB) got covid. It spread to Drew Lock, Blake Bottles, Brett Ryipen. So there was no one left. Their only option is Kendall Hinton. He played 1 year as a backup quarterback but never played. He threw 2 times and had 7 yards, but threw 2 interceptions. So the Broncos had too much struggle. Luckily Lock is arriving back at practice on Wednesday. The Broncos will play the Chiefs next weekend. Can they win?
