The regular NFL season is past the halfway marker, and the teams across the country are fighting for playoff spots, division titles and draft picks but with covid 19 cases rising, here is a recap of weeks 7-10. To try to get to the playoffs, teams making moves. This is especially true for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who signed Antonio Brown. Who in 2018 was one of the best Wide Receivers in the league, who got into complications with legal issues. Antonio Brown played week 9 against the Saints. Ryan Fitzpatrick after the win over the Jets was benched in their bye week by Tua Tagovailoa. Tua Tagovailoa was the 5th pick in the 2020 draft, he is a rookie from Alabama and had won against the Los Angeles Rams and then the Arizona Cardinals and finally the Chargers. Nfl stars are back from injury. Star players like Micheal Thomas are back from injury, who got injured weeks 1-2. Dalvin Cook who got injured in week 6 with a groin injury is playing and had a monster week 8 game with 163 rush yards, 3 rushing touchdowns, 63 yards receiving and a receiving touchdown. Nick Chubb got injured in week 4, came back week 10 against the Houston Texans. Yet there are still more injuries than people returning from injury. Drew Brees went down with a rib injury and a collapsed lung. Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin went down week 9. Most of the breakout players this season are gonna be forgotten. This is not the case for Seahawks wide receiver Dk Metcalf, who is destroying any defense in his way. In week 7 has 15 targets, 12 catches for 161 yards and 2 touchdowns. On the year Metcalf has 816 yards and 8 touchdowns. Charger quarterback Justin Herbert has looked outstanding, especially as a rookie. Even though he has only won 1 game in his career, he has thrown 2,333 passing yards and 19 passing touchdowns with only 6 interceptions. For a playoff spot this year, teams have to give it their all, since there are a lot of teams this year that want it as bad as every team. The NFC west is the best example of this. 3 teams in the NFC west are 6-3 and fighting for the division title. The Steelers, Ravens, and Browns are fighting for the division spot in the AFC North. The Saints and the Buccaneers are fighting for the division title in the NFC South. Finally the Colts and the Titans are going at it for the lead spot in the AFC South.
