Invented in 3500 BC glass is for everyone. It’s waterproof and perfectly transparent properties make it great for windows, screens, and anything you can imagine. It also has great tensile strength and is quite cheap and simple to make in low amounts. It’s also everywhere, chances are there’s some right next to you. 


But although it has high tensile strength, It’s strength against blunt objects is notoriously  terrible.But you can get glass substitutes like safety glass or bulletproof glass and problem solved. It is also pretty high maintenance to maintain it’s clearness.
