Peanut Butter Caramel Apples

Today I will be making caramel apples. This is a delicious, easy and healthy recipe. This recipe took me about only 15 minutes to make. By the way, this recipe are for one apple, so if you want to make more than one, just do the amount you want to make times the recipe (ex: if you want to make two, use twice the amount of ingredients in the recipe) The ingredients I used in this recipe are 1 apple, 1 cup of dates (I soaked them overnight), 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, 1/4 a teaspoon of salt, 2 teaspoons of peanut butter, and chocolate chips (optional). You will also need a food processor or blender for this recipe (I used a blender). So I got my ingredients and I was ready to bake! The first thing I did was put the dates, coconut oil, maple syrup, and salt in a blender. Then, I blended that all together until it was at my preferred texture. After that, I scooped the mixture into a bowl and mixed it with the peanut butter (you can just blend it with the other ingredients, but my parents said that the crunchy peanut butter I used will break the blender, so I added it separately). The next thing I did was dip my apple in the mixture. I did this by setting the apple in the mixture and slowly turning it so that it is mostly covered in the mixture. The last thing I did was dip the covered apple in chocolate chips. It turned out great! They were so good! I loved the caramel and peanut butter flavor, they just went so well with the apple. I thought the texture was nice because the peanut butter and caramel were smooth and the apple was crunchy. It was also a recipe that didn’t take much time. The blender I used got pretty messy but I was able to get the mess out and it didn’t take too long. Other than that, everything was pretty simple and not too big of a handful, and it doesn’t take too many ingredients and the ingredients are pretty accessible. I would rate this recipe a 9 out of 10, and I would definitely recommend trying it.
