Chinese Food

Aaliyah Richardson, writer

Chinese food is good, but there are some pros and cons. Some pros are that they have healthy foods like beef and broccoli, and this dish is low in carbs and high in protein. Also, anything steamed reduces the oil making it easier to digest the food like veggies, rice, and more. Healthy Chinese food dishes may be vegetable dumplings that are steamed. Soups mostly have vegetables in the broth which is very good for you. If you don’t feel well and are stressed, “On a stressful day, eating a bowl of soup can help reduce your anxiety and calm your nerves. Soup can also help boost your energy, which will improve your mood. No matter what health benefits you are looking for from your diet, soup is a great option.” Siad in the 5th paragraph.

Now for cons, Chinese is a portion of fast food and this means that it is bad for your blood pressure. Even a plate of stir-fried greens has 900 calories and 2,200 milligrams of sodium. Eggplant in garlic sauce has 1,000 calories and 2,000 milligrams of sodium. Having a lot of calories in just one meal, and a large amount of sodium, may not be beneficial for your body if you don’t burn them all off, which can lead to gaining weight. Furthermore, every 8 to 4 hours they set into your body causing body fat. In conclusion, there are pros and cons to every food where they can either be more or less beneficial to your body.
