New Mercedes-AMG GT Black series Unofficially beats Nurburgring Lap Record

Mercedes’ newest AMG speedster beat the production car lap record at Nurburgring when Misha Charoudin was working at the track and decided to time a lap. Even though he estimated the time, he has been known to have scary accurate estimations of cars laps. And according to Charoudin, the car timed a lap a whole second and a half faster than the previous record set by the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ at 6:44.97. It would make sense if it broke the record saying that it has a 720 horsepower 4.0 liter,flat-plane crank, v8 Biturbo motor, plus that power is exclusively distributed to the two rear wheels. The current fastest non-production lap record is set by the Porsche 919 Evo at a mind-twisting 5:19, but that is almost expected with a demon looking car. Maybe someday we will see a production car with a lap that fast, but I don’t demon-looking anytime soon. The Mercedes-AMG is the definition of a “street-legal race car” if you watched this drive down the street, you would either think that a fast and furious movie was being filmed or that someone stole it right out of Mercedes. The thing looks like they took the design of a Ferrari and then put everything from an actual race car and put it inside. It’s one of those cars that speeds down the highway, not caring because it knows that cops won’t even try to pull it over.
