Vince Carter has officially announced that he is retiring after playing 22 years in the NBA since he was 21 in 1998.

Since he was a rookie, Vince Carter put a staple in how we play basketball today.

VInce carter entered the 1998 draft as the number 5 overall pick by the Golden State Warriors and was traded to Toronto and soon won the 1999 Nba rookie of the year. He played 7 seasons with Toronto throughout the 2000s. There is a Netflix shoe=w based on him called The Carter Effect and explains all the changes Vince has brung to the Nba throughout his career and journey with the Toronto Rapters. Vince Carter is one of the most iconic Toronto Rapters players in Nba history. He has led the raptors to a 47 win season During the 2000-2001 Nba season although they did not make it far in the playoffs and lost to the Philadelphia 76s in the Conference semifinals. Overall Carter had a good 22 year career and has left a staple in the basketball world. Many argue that he deserves an Nba title as some other players do.
