Stone Fox

Stone Fox

Taylor Holthus, Writer

If you have read my first review, you would know it was about dogs. Well I think everyone knows that this one might also be about dogs! I am going to write a review on Stone Fox. When reading this book, be warned, it is very sad. I would give this book a 6.5/10 because of what happens in the book.

In the book, Little Wille and his grandfather are having a tough time with money. Soon the Willies Grandfather gets sick and has a tough time talking or doing anything. Little Willie then finds a dog race and wants to enter but what dog would he use? Oh! That’s right… Searchlight, Little Willies best friend. Little Willie soon finds out what he is facing. All of the other teams have ten dogs at the least and little Willie has one. But does that stop Little Willie? No! He believes that he and Searchlight can do anything!

The author of this book John Reynolds-Gardiner was born on December 6, 1944 and died on March 4, 2006. He was a rebellious boy and his teacher never believed in him. But he had so much creativity and became an amazing writer. He was best known for writing the book Stone Fox. Also, in a sample on google, 93% of people liked the book which shows that a lot of people think it is a good book to read! Have fun!
