We Need to Stop Bullying

Bullying. The worst thing that could happen to a kid, while they’re still growing up. Most kids get bullied for their skin color, their body, their face, and other things that kids can’t change. What is bullying? Bullying is the use of force, threat to abuse, unwanted, aggressive behavior among school-aged children. Bullying could be in many different types of ways. There could be physical, racial, cyber, verbal, social, sexual, and lastly, psychological bullying. The top three things kids use to bully other kids are, name-calling or insults, shoving or hitting, and threats! I think we should stop bullying now!

Bullies never recognize how hurt the other kid could be after getting bullied after and after again. They don’t care about their emotions or mood. But, the bullies could feel like that too. Some bullies take out issues at home, or sadness on someone else. I still think that bullies shouldn’t take their anger on other kids because they could be having their best life until someone comes and bullies them every day, till the kid does something bad. Worker, Chauncy Glover, at ABC7News wrote a news report on a little 10-year-old boy named, Kevin Reese, who killed himself because he got bullied. CBS News wrote a news story of an 8-year-old boy, named Gabriel Taye, who got knocked out unconscious by another child, before killing himself the next day, because he got bullied. Kids take their life away just because they got bullied, and that’s not okay!

Lastly, I think bullying should stop because it could lead to people wanting to change themselves just because of what someone said. For example, if someone got bullied about their name and their hair, then, they could have the mindset of wanting to ask their parents to change their name or even get scissors or a shaver, and shave all of their hair off. The saddest thing about bullying, is that someone could get bullied off of a disability they have or if they have cancer. I think it’s best to stop bullying so that nothing has to happen to a kid’s mindset about themselves, and so every kid could think they’re perfect in their own world.
