People Outraged as President Trump Removes his Mask Following COVID-19 Diagnosis

On October 2nd, 2020, President Trump was officially diagnosed with Covid-19. He was sent to the Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Trump was treated with special medicare and drugs that only him and less than ten other people are getting treated with for Covid 19. He then spent four days in the Hospital. After four days of special treatment the President was released from the hospital and returned to the White House on October 5th, 2020.

When President Trump gets out of his car at the White House, he walks to the balcony to get his photo taken. Trump then took off his mask, posing for pictures for approximately two minutes before walking into the White House, still unmasked.

Trump later tweeted, “Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump administration, some really great drugs & knowledge.” People soon start tweeting back things standing up against him and many are outraged by his tweet. The tweet raised so much controversy that Twitter and Facebook decided to take down the post.
